Masquerade

This was my first prom. I spent the day taking pictures of toads on my trashcan, because there was no way I was going to worry about this dance.

I actually designed my dress, but it turned out to be far too expensive. So, unfortunately, this is not a thrifted dress. The purse is my mothers, though!
My mom says I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, which may be true. Maybe I'm compensating for that with this thrifting obsession.

The theme was masquerade, although we were the only ones who turned up wearing masks! We still had a fantastic time.

This is J (not his real name). He is now a high school graduate! Congratulations!

Yes, those are seagull statues.

The most fun was not to be had dancing, but rather spending time on a carriage ride beside the river with those I cared about.

It's funny how the unplanned things are always the ones you remember...
